After several days of simply horrifying scenes of thieving, arson, murder & rioting we have finally seen what the English are made of, retribution & punishment has followed, but the reaction of communities affected by the disorder has been amazing.Councils are spending considerable resource clearing up & focusing on how we can prevent this from happening again.There has to be severe punishment for those involved, but if we see a sea change in how we go about instilling a sense of responsibility & respect for the rule of law in many young people largely in inner city areas who regard themselves as beyond or outside the law, then we may find a positive out of this mess.But I am not entirely sure what the recall of Parliament added to the sum of knowledge!
