The Tories have accused PM Gordon Brown of revaluation ‘by stealth', after the Government refused to reveal if it would renew a property database contract with estate agent, Rightmove. Despite postponing council tax revaluation, the Government has gone ahead with the property price database. The contract expires in March, but could be extended for 12 months.
