Last year the Government announced its £3.8bn Better Care Fund because, to be blunt, services in social care and in hospitals are neither sustainable at current levels nor good enough. 

We don't just want to save money or avoid duplication – we want to revolutionise delivery of local services and ultimately improve the lives of those who need our support, by reducing their hospital admissions, shortening their hospital stays and enabling more and better care at home.
