Schemes to provide London's black and minority ethnic communities with a greater voice and more influence have been handed £2m in grants from London Councils. Among projects receiving funding are awareness-raising schemes, the development of websites, and work towards improving community cohesion. London's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities have received £400,000.
