New figures reveal a rise in the number of homeowners following through on Right-to-buy purchases.
Data has shown sales have doubled from 1,041 to 2,010 during the last two quarters of 2012. The overall figure of 3,495 properties since a relaunch last April is a third more than the previous year. Housing minister Mark Prisk said: 'The reinvigorated scheme has opened the door to home ownership for thousands of tenants across the country.
