During 6-10 August 2011 some of England biggest cities saw the worst riots of a generation. Much work has been done to understand why these riots happened and what public authorities and communities can do to mitigate such action in the future. LGiU are now undertaking a survey to understand more about how prepared local authorities are for similar events and how you are building community resilience, and we would like to invite you to take part. Here is a link to the survey: www.lgiu.org.uk/riots-one-year-on This survey will take no longer than 10 minutes to complete and your responses are greatly appreciated. We will publish the results next Monday.
