The LGA has warned that road pricing could be another poll tax, unless the Government does more to improve the country's transport infrastructure. ‘A substantial improvement in the transport infrastructure, such as buses, trains, trams and cycling paths is absolutely essential,' said chair of the LGA's transport and regeneration board, Cllr David Sparks.
