Outgoing Westminster City Council chief executive, Peter Rogers, has joined the board of consultant Pinnacle, as deputy chairman. Mr Rogers, who steps down this month after 12 years with the London borough, is one of the leading chief executives in local government. He will be succeeded at Westminster City Council by Suffolk CC chief executive, Mike More, who joins the authority on Monday. During his time at Westminster, Mr Rogers saw the local council get one of the highest CPA ratings in the country. He was also deputy chief executive and director of resources before taking the top officer's job. ‘Securing Mr Rogers as our new deputy chair is a real achievement for Pinnacle and I'm delighted to welcome him on board,' said Pinnacle chair, Perry Lloyd. ‘His breadth of experience spans public sector leadership, commercial acumen and policy reform – and his reputation speaks for itself.' Mr Rogers said: ‘Pinnacle has consistently set the pace for innovation and positive change within community management and public sector reform. ‘I'm delighted to join the board to support the continuing development of the firm's strategic direction.'
