Kingston is a vibrant, dynamic commercial centre recognised as one of the best places in which to live and work. We have made the connections between our Property, Environment, Housing and Planning functions and developed a renewed focus on regeneration and investment in our centres and asset portfolio, including our schools and housing stock. Working with our key partners and stakeholders we are developing a programme of activity to diversify our economic offer, increase our prosperity and contribute to the social, physical and economic renaissance for the whole Borough. These two vital roles will complete the leadership team for our Place directorate.

Working with colleagues across the place directorate your focus will be to deliver services that are key Council priorities, ensuring that the Royal Borough is clean, green and safe, for residents, businesses, visitors and customers. You will engage widely with both private and public sector partners to deliver the Council's objectives, commissioning environmental services and promoting shared working arrangements. We are looking for a talented leader with significant experience in running local government environmental and waste services.

These two vital roles will complete the leadership team for our Place directorate.

As Head of Service for Corporate Landlord, the role holder will provide strategic leadership to the service in order to ensure that assets support the core needs of the Council. The post holder will also have lead responsibility for delivering the One Kingston Assets Commissioning Programme as well as making a key contribution to the Council's Place Shaping Programme. The role requires an innovative leader who will find new ways to optimise the portfolio, identify cost savings and play a major role in unlocking value and development opportunity.
