 A court case accusing Birmingham City Council chief executive Joanne Roney of an antisemitic slur has collapsed as ‘there was not a shred of evidence'.

The case accused the Birmingham boss of calling Benjamin Rose a ‘massive Jewish B***end' when she was chief at Manchester City Council.
