Business leaders in the North East have predicted a boost for the local economy following the news that Newcastle will be one of the host cities for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Business leaders in the North East have predicted a boost for the local economy following the news that Newcastle will be one of the host cities for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The 13 host cities were announced by the world cup organisers on 2 May and also include Milton Keynes, Manchester and Gloucester. Defending champions, the New Zealand All Blacks will play a match at St James' Park in October 2015.
