Salford is pioneering a new approach to public service in the age of austerity.

With an elected City Mayor and Cabinet, Salford City Council is working with our partners to develop a "whole city" approach to intergrated service redesign.

We are looking for an outstanding public service leader, who is focussed on change, co-operation and the effective delivery of intergrated services which are fit for the 21st century.

You will be innovative, politically astute, with a strong record of partnership achievement. As Head of our Paid Service, you will have strategic responsibility for all council services, as well as directing the City Mayor's agenda for growth and development in Salford. It's a huge challenge. Are you up for it?
