Ever since Mark Zuckerberg unleashed the all-consuming monster that is Facebook, people have been struggling with the dilemma of how much time is too much time to spend telling the world what you had for lunch or stalking former acquaintances.

Council workers in Wales were recently put under the spotlight by the BBC, who sent out a series of Freedom of Information requests demanding to know how many staff have got into trouble for misusing the social media website in the previous year.
