Pressure group Big Brother Watch claims there are now more than 100,000 CCTV cameras in schools in England, Scotland and Wales.

According to the lobby group, 90% of secondary schools and academies now use the security cameras. ‘The full extent of school surveillance is far higher than we had expected and will come as a shock to many parents,' said Big Brother Watch director, Nick Pickles.
