Liverpool City Council held an event on 12 June for local firms who want to bid for work as part of mayor, Joe Anderson's, school rebuilding programme.

Twelve schools are being rebuilt under the programme, which was set up by Mr Anderson following the scrapping of wave six of Liverpool's Building Schools for the Future project.
