Unions and health chiefs in Scotland have settled an equal pay claim which will mean 3,000 NHS Scotland staff receiving between £350 and £850 in compensation.

Unions and health chiefs in Scotland have settled an equal pay claim which will mean 3,000 NHS Scotland staff receiving between £350 and £850 in compensation.

The deal refers to historic discriminatory pay practices which existed before 2004 when the current pay and conditions system was introduced.
