The Government's public sector reform agenda has resulted in a ‘demonstrable growth in inequality', jeopardising local authorities' ability to comply with the Equalities Act 2010, a report has warned.
The joint study by the Centre for Local Economic Strategies and the North West Infrastructure Partnership, released today (23 February), was a ‘wake up call to central and local government', said CLES chief executive Neil McInroy.
