New guidance issued by the local government boundary commission for England (LGBCE) aims to simplify procedures for councils reviewing governance arrangements.
Covering both main types of review work, the guidance will support electoral changes to council sizes and moves to single-member wards, as well as reforms to principal area boundaries ranging from minor anomalies to whole-council mergers.
