The Government has announced seven cities across England will receive a share of £12m to kick-start the new Green Deal programme.
Local authorities in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham and Sheffield will all receive the funding to pay for energy-saving home improvements.
