Some 65 NHS staff have co-located into offices belonging to Surrey CC, a year before public health responsibilities formally transfer to local authorities.
The transfer is one of the first of its kind, and follows the joint appointment in 2010 of Dr Akeem Ali as director of public health across Surrey CC and NHS Surrey.
