Local government's project delivery specialist, 4ps, has launched a streetlighting procurement pack aimed at saving councils time and money when procuring PFI/PPP schemes. Information in the pack, available at www.4ps.gov.uk, reflects current market practices such as competitive dialogue to provide councils and bidders with all they need to know about streetlighting procurement. Chris Wilson, 4ps executive director, said: ‘It's important authorities have guidance to help them deliver effective projects, while saving time and money.'
