Somerset CC has denied it banned Burnham Chamber of Trade and Commerce from fixing bunting on lampposts ahead of this weekend's Jubilee celebrations.
‘We are happy for bunting to go up across the county for any occasion,' said a council spokesman. ‘But organisers should always contact Somerset Highways first, if they want to attach it to our property.'
