An election tribunal has said that it can find no evidence of alleged ballot fraud in two Tower Hamlet wards during last year's borough elections. Elections commissioner, Richard Wabey QC, has dismissed petitions on Bethnal Green and Mile End and Globe town wards submitted by two Labour councillors and praised deputy returning officer, Pat Parker, and her staff for being ‘fully alert – and doing all they could to prevent postal ballot fraud.'
