Sita secures £1bn waste bid

The Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority has appointed Sita as preferred bidder for a £1bn deal.

The contract is on behalf of the Merseyside and Halton Waste Partnership and aims to achieve £145m of savings over its 30-year lifespan.
