Channel 4 News presenter, Jon Snow, is to present The MJ Local Government Achievement Awards 2008 at the annual gala event at the Hilton Hotel Park Lane in London on 26 June. Mr Snow will announce winners of the 16 categories in the awards at the gala night attended by more than 900 people, including leading members of associations, and the communities and local government secretary, Hazel Blears.
