The government has launched a survey to enable social enterprises to find out how much influence social enterprises have. A second wave of the National Survey of Charities and Social Enterprises has been launched giving charities, social enterprises and voluntary and community groups in every local authority area an opportunity to have their voices heard. Nick Hurd, minister for civil society, said: ‘This survey represents a real opportunity for organisations to put their views across on issues that affect them, communicate with local authorities and their partners, and inform and influence national and local policy.'
