Designs for the new look Heygate Estate were unveiled last week at Southwark LBC. The estate will be demolished in 2010 as part of the £1.5bn regeneration of Elephant and Castle. A panel of council officers, residents and housing association partners saw designs from private companies for the first six sites, including the Brandon Street development, pictured above, in the new-look estate. Plans for the remaining eight sites will be unveiled in July.
