Hackney LBC has launched a £220,000 fund to help the borough's future sports stars and clubs achieve their full potential. The Hackney Youth Sports Fund will run until 2012, and was financed by an out of court settlement the council was given by Nike over the unauthorised use of the local authority's logo on sportswear.
