Workers at energy-saving firm, Eaga, look set to get a windfall from the sale of the company to Carillion, after protests that they were being left out.

The staff had originally been told that they would not receive anything from the £306m deal after an agreement by employee trust, the Eaga Partnership Trust, to accept Carillion shares rather than cash as part of the takeover.
