Staffordshire CC chief executive Nick Bell is leaving to join the private sector after more than four years in the post.

Mr Bell, who has led a major programme of change at the county since he joined in April 2010, is to join education, employment and training experts Prospects Group in the autumn as chief executive.

Council leader Cllr Philip Atkins said he would be seeking ‘a high calibre replacement.'
