The head of Stoke-On-Trent Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) has warned his organisation may have to start charging for services because of local authority funding cuts.

Sajid Hashmi, chief executive at the CVS branch, said he would have to start charging other charities and voluntary groups if Stoke City Council cut direct funding from April.
