WORKFORCE

Strategic Director - Delivery

You've already driven change impressively across multiple functions and services. Now, you're ready for change on a massive scale. You'll find the ideal challenge in Wolverhampton. Over the last two to three years, huge strides have been made in improving the outcomes for the city, its businesses and its residents. However, aspirations to be the best demand continuous improvement.

Impacting on both corporate and Council services, you will have a central role in reshaping the organisation to drive forward the regeneration of Wolverhampton and the surrounding area.

You will be tasked with collaborating with the Chief Executive on key strategies for Cultural Change, Organisational and Workforce Development, Performance Management, Strategic Management, Resource Management and Financial Strategy; the Section 151 Officer and the Monitoring Officer will both be part of your team.

Through inspirational leadership, target-setting and forward planning, you will work closely with Strategic Directors and Assistant Directors to drive performance and efficiency improvement across both business services and key Council services and deliver the Council's Corporate Plan.
