Strategic Director - People

Based in Forfar.

People, Communities and Resources are the three areas around which we are creating a new framework for our business.

Our new leadership team will guide the council on this journey; challenging our practices, developing our potential and nurturing our people.

We are looking for two outstanding leaders to join this team: a Strategic Director - People, integrated services for individuals and families and a Strategic Director - Resources, the core services that support and drive our business.

Your role is to provide strong corporate leadership focused on the delivery of outcomes and the strategic design of highly cost effective service provision.

You will be a leader that is passionate about public services and able to anticipate, adapt and respond to a complex range of local and national priorities. You will be an excellent communicator, a creative thinker, a collaborative colleague, and a bold and inclusive decision maker who can inspire others and command the confidence of stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for the people of Angus. For more information visit our dedicated website at this link or contact Evelyn Dougherty at SOLACE Enterprises on 0845 6010649 for an informal discussion.

Closing date: 3 December 2012.
