Plans for the future development of the South West will be unveiled this week with the publication of the examination in public of the draft Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS). The South West is the fastest-developing of the English regions, with more than 20,000 new homes currently planned each year across the area. The RSS will set housing levels for all the districts in the South West for the next 20 years.
