South Kesteven DC is to switch from fortnightly to monthly bin collections during the winter months to allow staff to concentrate more on street cleaning.
Residents told councillors they were happy to back a service reduction until March. Environment portfolio holder, Cllr John Smith, said: ‘The amount of garden waste collected in winter is very small.'
