Strike in support of axed official

Unite members working for the Ealing branch of the parking enforcement company NSL called on five-day strike.

Unite members working for the Ealing branch of the parking enforcement company NSL have called a five-day strike in their campaign to reverse the dismissal of shop steward, Parveen Bharwaj.

Already, the 60-strong branch has staged two 48-hour strikes, and Unite regional officer Richard Gates said: ‘Talks have failed to resolve this dispute to our members satisfaction.'
