Stroud DC has managed to secure a 76% satisfaction rating from its residents, despite the challenging financial climate.
The authority's annual budget survey shows that satisfaction levels have increased from 63% last year – an improvement described as a ‘pleasant surprise' by the council's leader, Cllr Francis Roden.
