A leading think-tank has alleged that providers to the Coalition's flagship Work Programme were ‘set up to fail' because of unrealistic expectations.

Official figures released by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) on 27 November revealed a total of 31,000 job placements were achieved on a payment-by-results basis in the first 13 months of the scheme.
