Whitehall departments should consider providing a vast range of services in partnership with the private sector to help shelter Britain from another financial crisis, leading consultants have reported.
A study by auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), published on 10 February, concludes that senior managers across both the public and private sectors are wrestling with the same key challenges following the recession – the need to retain and motivate talented staff and the requirement to do ‘more for less'.
