Suffolk's districts have urged ministers to take action against the county council for its tactics aimed at landing a single countywide unitary through reorganisation.

The leaders of Suffolk's five districts – East, West and Mid Suffolk, Babergh and Ipswich – have written to local government minister Alison McGovern accusing Suffolk CC of failing to be honest and even-handed in its publicity around the options for local government reorganisation in the area.
