Suffolk CC has pledged to fight plans by the National Grid to erect a string of new pylons across the county.
‘This has been a hot topic for local people for over two years and I have received the full backing of the council's cabinet to press forward with leading the fight against Suffolk's iconic landscapes being littered with pylons,' said cabinet member for planning, Cllr Guy McGregor.
