Surrey CC is on course to exceed its target of £60m saving for the 2011/12 financial year, the authority has announced.
With the new financial year now under way, councils are busy assessing whether they achieved their planned savings for 2011/12. Surrey said it now expected to exceed its £60m target by around £4m.
