Surrey streamlines transport Surrey CC has launched an innovative new transport co-ordination centre to get the most out of its transport resources. The centre has taken over co-ordination of all mainstream school and special educational needs transport, with school buses now used throughout the day for other council services. It is also due to take over control of social care transport. Surrey is the first council to co-ordinate transport at this level.
