The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has reported a significant improvement in adult social care services since 2008.
But, its new report urged further growth was required to meet future needs. National analysis of the market has rated 83% of care homes, homecare services, nursing agencies and shared lives schemes as ‘good' or ‘excellent' compared with 69% in 2008.
