The London Assembly has challenged firms and government departments over why they keep unused offices lit overnight.
Members of the GLA environment committee questioned business leaders and officials about the reasons for leaving lights on, and how workplaces could be encouraged to save money and carbon emissions by reducing lighting and energy usage.
