North Lincolnshire Council will take over management of eight household recycling centres from November 2012, when its current contract with SITA comes to an end.
‘We will be improving the sites and increase the number of people employed by the council,' said cabinet member for highways and neighbourhood, Cllr Nigel Sherwood.
