Councils wishing to have an impact on the future of local government finance should put forward their views to the Government now, according to local government minister, Andrew Stunell.

Councils wishing to have an impact on the future of local government finance should put forward their views to the Government now, according to local government minister, Andrew Stunell.

Speaking at a LGA seminar, Mr Stunell responded to criticisms over the equalisation formula, by telling delegates: ‘The finance review will be started in the new year. If people want to make representation, now would be a good time.'
