Barking and Dagenham LBC is planning a crackdown on residents abusing the single person discount on their council tax bills.
‘We will be writing to all those residents who, we believe, are claiming incorrectly, asking them to confirm their living arrangements,' said cabinet member for finance, Cllr Cameron Geddes.
