Leadership Centre chief executive, Stephen Taylor, has announced he will be ending his secondment to the centre next March. Mr Taylor was seconded from organisational development company, Stanton Marris, in November 2005, for two years, but then extended to three. He founded the company in 1998, and worked previously as a business adviser for 25 years to both the private and public sectors. Funded by the CLG, the Leadership Centre is being subsumed into the LGA, together with the IDeA, 4Ps and LACORS. On its website Mr Taylor wrote: ‘Great councils unite strong political and managerial leadership .' Mr Taylor is planning to form an independent social enterprise working to improve public sector collaborative working.
