The £1.6m Whitlingham Country Park near Norwich won best public/ community project in the local authority building control. Built in Quality awards. Built by ISG Jackson Special for Norfolk CC, architects Snell Associates picked up the award at a ceremony at Grosvenor House Hotel in London. The centre is situated on the banks of the Whitlingham Great Broad .
